Description

ACE-031 (Ramatercept) is a recombinant fusion protein designed to investigate muscle growth regulation. It is composed of the extracellular domain of the human activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) linked to the Fc region of human immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1). This structure allows it to act as a soluble “decoy” receptor, binding to myostatin and other TGF-β superfamily ligands to inhibit their signaling.
