High-purity BPC-157 lyophilized powder for research into soft tissue regeneration, angiogenesis, and gastric cytoprotection mechanisms.

Description

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide comprised of 15 amino acids, derived from a protective protein found in human gastric juice. It has been extensively studied for its cytoprotective effects and its ability to accelerate the healing of soft tissue, including tendons, ligaments, and skeletal muscle. The peptide’s primary mechanism of action involves the modulation of the nitric oxide (NO) system and the stimulation of angiogenic growth factors such as VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor).

  • Soft Tissue Repair: Research indicates efficacy in accelerating the healing of transected rat Achilles tendons and medial collateral ligaments by enhancing fibroblast migration.

  • Angiogenesis: Investigated for its ability to upregulate VEGFR2 expression and promote the formation of new blood vessels in ischemic tissues.

  • Gastrointestinal Health: Studied for cytoprotective properties against gastric ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and NSAID-induced enteropathy.

  • Nitric Oxide Modulation: Acts on the NO signaling pathway to regulate vascular tone and protect endothelial function.

  • Formulation: Lyophilized powder.

  • Storage: -20°C for powder, -80°C for reconstituted solution to maintain stability.

  • Reconstitution: Bacteriostatic water or sterile saline. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Purity: ≥99% (HPLC)

  • Grade: Research Grade

  • Appearance: White lyophilized powder

  • Solubility: Soluble in water and acetic acid.

For Research Use Only. Not for human consumption.

  • Regulatory Status: BPC-157 is currently listed on the WADA Prohibited List and is not approved by the FDA for clinical use in humans.

  • Safety Profile: While preclinical models show a high safety margin, potential interactions with dopaminergic and serotonergic systems have been noted in rodent studies.

  • Experimental Use: Investigational compound intended solely for laboratory research and development purposes.
