We’re a UK based lab working with trusted partners both locally and internationally.

Peptide production is complex and it’s virtually impossible to have complete visibility of the supply chain for all the component parts.

Even the big multinational producers will source many of the necessary compounds/APIs for peptide synthesis.

We ensure every stage of production meets our rigorous quality standards.

Peptides are formed by connecting amino acids through peptide bonds. These bonds occur when an amino group (–NH₂) from one amino acid links to a carboxyl group (–COOH) from another, releasing water.

Peptides play critical roles in biological processes and are commonly used by scientists for research applications.

Each amino acid includes: A central carbon atom A hydrogen atom (H) An amino group (–NH₂) A carboxyl group (–COOH) A unique side chain (R group) To avoid interference during peptide formation, the side chains (R groups) are temporarily protected.

Peptide Lab Synthesis In labs, peptides are commonly made through solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS):

Setup: Attach the first amino acid to a resin and protect its amino group.

Chain Growth: Remove protection, add the next amino acid, and form a peptide bond.

Repeat: Continue the cycle to build the desired peptide sequence.

Finally, the peptide is separated from the resin using an acid, which also removes remaining protective groups, yielding the completed peptide.

This precise method allows scientists to create tailored peptides for research and other specialised applications.

For peptides there are COAs available on each product page on our website.

These are produced in-house and include a report from our HPLC machine including Purity %.

COAs are created for each batch so please let us know your batch numbers and we will provide the correct COAs.

We also offer store credit if you want to send our peptides for testing yourself. You can send for any test in any lab but please check with us first!

Note for products that are already in-solution we provide a Product Spec not a COA as there is no purity % variability.

Peptides are shipped in a lyophilised (freeze-dried) form, which preserves their stability and effectiveness during transit.

Our packaging methods carefully protect the peptides from environmental risks, especially direct sunlight, ensuring they arrive in optimal condition to maintain quality and effectiveness.

We can ship to any country but please ensure the order does not contain products that are prohibited. Due to the complex and frequently changing legal landscape around peptides it is the buyers responsibility to determine this and help us to avoid issues with customs. Please ensure you have fully understood our International Orders policy before you order.

Monday to Friday orders received before 16:00 are dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. Saturday is an early collection so orders must be before 12:00.

All our products are shipped with next day delivery. Please order on Friday before 4pm for Saturday deliver.

Yes, you can read many of our 5-star reviews on Amazon, Google, our website, and Trustpilot.

With over 80,000 customers, we believe we deliver exceptional customer service and unrivalled quality.

All of our products are sold strictly for research use.

We therefore cannot offer any advice at all on using the products.

There are plenty of resources online for example – Wikipedia.org – Reddit.com/r/Peptides – Pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Store unused peptides at -20°C or colder, sealed with a desiccant to prevent moisture.

Proper storage prevents bacterial degradation, oxidation, and unwanted structural changes, preserving peptide quality for several years.

The company allows customers to send their peptides for third-party testing, and they will provide store credit for the cost of the testing.

Please check with the company before sending the products for testing to ensure that the batch is not already being tested by someone else and that the testing facility is “normal” and approved by the company.

If the test results are materially below the company’s Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the batch, the customer will receive a refund instead of store credit.

Checkout is set up for debit or credit card but if you want to pay with Multi-currency Bank Transfer or Crypto that’s fine too – just message us for more details.

Where applicable LPS (lipopolysaccharides) have been removed to a level under 10eu/mg.

Please check for emails from orders@oxfordpeptides.com which should contain tracking information if dispatched.

For Domestic orders we ship every day except Sunday. Tracking emails are sent at time of dispatch.

For International orders we ship every few days. International orders also involve a trip to the postal depot to complete documentation so sometimes there are small delays in updating the Tracking but usually the order has been dispatched.

If you haven’t been sent the tracking please allow up to five days for International Orders.

If you’re experiencing any issues with your purchase, we’re here to help. Simply reach out through our chatbot with the details.

We will aim to resolve all issues as quickly and promptly as possible.
